This morning I woke up to find myself in Dallas, Texas!  I flew down here yesterday as a surprise for my Dad.  His expression when he first saw me did not disappoint!

Before I left I participated in a bit of retail therapy...

Purchases 6.3.13

I don't remember the names of all that I bought, but I am very excited to play with some of those fabrics when I get back home!

Also, last Thursday I responded to Lizzy House's call to help cut down some fabric.  It was SO FUN to sit, chat, and cut down fabric with her!  She is so nice and very generous.  I was able to take home some fabric!

She also gave me all of her patterns!

Flying

Here was my reading for my flight! I have every issue they're released and I think that this one is the absolute best! There are so many quilts I want to make!

When I finally got home and surprised my Dad, it was dinner time and they got one of my favorite meals ever!

Golden Chick

I used to eat at Golden Chick all the time in high school and I so wish there were locations in Utah!

10 Pacifier Clips

After dinner I gave Lorie, my Dad's wife, 10 pacifier clips that she asked me to make for her.
She asked for 5 girly clips and 5 neutral clips.  I barely got these done before I left, but they're done!

  1. What an awesome update post. I love those pacifier clips - do you by chance have a tutorial? I tried to find more info on your blog but had some trouble locating it. Those lizzy prints and patterns are wonderful! What a very special treat. I can't wait to see what you stitch up next.
