Lillian + Oliver: Progress

I have been having so much fun with this Lillian + Oliver quilt that it's been hard to work on other things!  I finished all the blocks last week and I even have the sashing cut.  All I need to do is decide on the layout and sew it all together!

I wanted to share a few of my favorite blocks... starting with my very favorite:

This quilt is going to be so darling!  I super love my fabric choices and I am so glad that they play well together!

Well, I am off to make this week a success.  I hope you have a successful week also!

  1. These look great!

I'm not familiar with this pattern but wouldn't it make sense to cut your white and border fabrics the entire width of fabric, sew a white strip to a patterned strip and then use those segments to sew onto the center square?
I might try that some day...

    1. Thanks!

It sounds like you could do it that way... I hadn't thought of that! The pattern that I used is called Lillian and Oliver by Kati Cupcake. Here is a link for it, if you wanted to take a look at it! http://bellarosequilts.danemcoweb.com/shop/product/lillian-oliver-kati-cupcake-kc151/ (I didn't buy it there, they just had the clearest picture) Have a great day!
