Fireworks: In Progress

I feel like I have been working on this quilt for forever!!  I think this is the most intricate quilt I have ever made.  I guess that is why I am so surprised that I have been working on it for weeks!  Anyways, today I have a bit more progress on my Fireworks quilt.

Fireworks Blocks in Progress

I have been trying really hard to stay focused and sew these blocks together.  Sometimes when patterns reach a point that they're monotonous, I end up finding other things to do... But I have been reigning myself in on this one and I'm aiming for a finished quilt top by Friday!

I do quite enjoy the finished block, though, don't get me wrong.  It's just that putting these blocks together turns out to be an all day event!
