This quilt top took me about a week longer to finish than I had wanted it to... but I am so pleased with how it has turned out!
This quilt is quite the beast. I've really been spoiled with the two baby quilts that I've recently finished!
I'm really in love with the way Pat Bravo's Rock n' Romance looks with the the Art Gallery Cabernet solid.
The points were the hardest part. I lost just a couple of the bottom two points of some of the arrows. The other points were fairly easy to keep.
All in all, I am very happy about this quilt! I don't have a backing or binding for it, though, so in the drawer it goes until a later time.
The pattern was very well written and I would definitely make this quilt again. I think it would be an absolutely darling baby quilt. Les Amis comes to mind...
Happy Friday, my Friends! I'm linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts - check out some other finishes for Friday!
Currently Listening to: Making Light by Passion Pit (gearing up for the concert TOMORROW!!!)

ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful quilt. I love your choice to use purple as the background color. Such a fun twist on the neutrals I usually see in quilts like this.
ReplyDeleteThe name of your quilt is what attracted me. I love just about anything with a southwest flair. You've done a magnificent job on this. Love the colors and the design.
